“This is a book about how you can live a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle. But at the same time, it’s really not about that at all- because this book is not about why you need to become vegan, use cloth diapers, or grow your own food.” – Jessica Alba
Whether you’re single, married, or have kids, I think everyone can relate to the opening words of Jessica Alba’s book, The Honest Life. She believes that you don’t have to be rich or boring to live a healthier life, which is true. Personally, I love carbs and clothes way too much to ever think about becoming a vegan, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to be healthier. I found her book to be down to earth, refreshing, and thought provoking. I particularly liked her advice on budget friendly fashion and “DIYs” on skin care. It even made me want to try out her organic product line, The Honest Co,.
